Catch Up!

It's Monday morning. Which is turning into my weekly blog day.

But I always feel like there's so many announcements to be made at the beginning of the week. I'm like conditioned from school to make announcements first thing Monday morning.

Sorry?

Well, anyway! Let's get to it.

:)

So, if you didn't see on my Facebook, THE RELENTLESS WARRIOR IS FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woo hoo!!!!!!

You guys, this book. THIS BOOK.

I didn't know if I would be able to finish it... honestly. It's the hardest book I've ever written. And I have a few theories to why.

It wasn't necessarily the story line. But it definitely was Jericho.

He's just one of my most favorite characters. And you might think that would make this book easy to write? Apparently not. I just struggled and struggled on how to make this book worthy of him. I rewrote the plot. I changed the POV to dual half way through. I rewrote Olivia at least four times... This book is a labor of love. In every sense of that phrase.

But the good news is... I am SO VERY MUCH in love with this book.

I think it might be my favorite of all the Star-Crossed books. Which is saying something... Those books are like my favorite children. I love them the most. :)

And before you get defensive for our beloved Eden and Kiran. They will, of course, always be my favorite love story. But as far as individual books go, this one might be on top.

Normally, I'm not a huge fan of condensing a love story down to only one book. It's hard for me to cram in everything I think it takes to fall in love.

I'm not big on the whole "love" at first sight thing. Attraction, sure. The intriguing pull to the other person, absolutely. But love is so.... defining and life-changing. I love the slow build, the hundred little moments that push the person into a forever kind of oblivion. I love to watch people change and gravitate to each other over time.

So one book... makes all that very difficult. Especially, when there's a HUGE plot line happening alongside all of that.

That darn Terletov.

But it all worked out and I am so excited to share this book with you.

It's off at the editor's and so I'm a little lost this morning. Like, what do I do???

Just kidding. I have a million things to do. I'm not even sure where to start....

I have a couple novellas to finish up!!! Breathless Magic which I am SO very excited for you guys to read.

You should know that as far as timeline goes, Eden and Kiran's novella is going to fit in between The Relentless Warrior- which will be released BEFORE the novella- and the final book in the Star-Crossed Series which is The Redeemable Prince, due out next fall I think.

So, if you haven't read The Reluctant King Go do that now!!! And then get The Relentless Warrior and you'll be ready for Breathless Magic.

:)

I'm also working on Love and Decay, Season Two!!! Gosh, it's good to get back to the Zombie Apocalypse.

What???

Yes, I did just say that!!

But I missed those characters. I've been dying to write them for a while!!

And once those are all ready to go... I'm diving into THE FALL!!!!!!!!!! Gosh, I've missed Ivy and Ryder, too. Oh, my word, I cannot wait to continue their story.

Where The Rush was kind of a "light" paranormal read, The Fall is going to dive right down deep into the supernatural and Greek mythology. You are going to get immersed in my concept of modern gods and goddesses, sirens, nymphs, muses, demigods, the fates, furies and more!!!!

I'm just so excited about this book.

And hopefully, I've kicked my writer's block to the curb.

Cross your fingers.

After The Fall, I'm writing Firelight. That should be on schedule for March.

But you should know that after Firelight comes out, I'm taking a release break. I will keep up with Love and Decay, and I think Brazing (The second book I'm writing with Lila Felix) comes out in April, but other than that, I'm not scheduling any more releases until next fall.

I would like to get at least one book out in that off period, but I just don't want to get behind in my release schedule like this year... so I'm giving myself plenty of time to stay caught up. It just seems like the end of the school year and summer get so very busy.

So don't forget about me!!! :)

Actually, it will be kind of hard to forget because Love and Decay will be on schedule until the first week of July or something like that.

And I know that my little hiatus makes the wait between the third books in both the Star-Crossed and The Siren Series LONG again... but you guys, I just don't want to go through what I went through with TRW ever again. I'm taking precautions against getting burnt out and being plagued with a brain that doesn't work. So I really hope that makes sense to you.

More announcements???

I'm revealing the NEW cover for The Rush VERY soon!!! And the new cover for Season Two of Love and Decay!!!!!!!!!!!

Woot!

And have you seen the Breathless Magic cover??? It's so gorgeous. I'm just in love.
