Well blogging world... It's been a while. Like seriously a long, long, long while!

And I'm not talking about the little updates here and there... I mean, it has been almost two months since I've actually sat down, poured out my heart, revealed way too much about my personal life and let you know what was going on in my life!!!!

And I have missed this. Like so much. Like so. so. so much.

I need my online blabfest to the world. My Dear Diary-thirteen year old girl style. It keeps me sane.

Oh yes, I just said that by sharing how crazy I am with the known and unknown internet universe I am able to stay sane.

So please think on that the next time you're tempted to call CPS on me!!! :)

I finally have time to blog though.... because.....

STARBRIGHT IS FINALLY LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay!!!!!!!!!

I may or may not be cupping my hands over my mouth and doing that heavy breathing thing that sounds like a crowd cheering...

What??? I'm excited.

And so nervous I could puke.

Seriously.

We had soup for dinner tonight because I didn't want to risk it.

And because my kids are OBSESSED with soup. It's a little bit bizarre.

It's also my go to dinner when I know everyone needs a healthy, home cooked meal.

Anyway!

So Starbright is live!!!

Finally. I say "finally" with a growly, deep whiny voice. Because this book took me forever........................

It was the longest I've ever taken to write a book. And not just because I've been wanting to write it for years. Like, since Stella was a baby. But because I started writing it in February.

What month is it now??? Uh... September. Yikes.

Which, I will say I had an incredibly, horribly, awfully busy summer. But still, that's no excuse.

I've written books in six weeks before. So seven months is a little... I don't want to say disappointing... but maybe something like uh, disappointing!

The good news is I had the baby, I got my brain back and the story finally made sense in my head.

Woot. Woot.

So watch out world, books will be flying out of now. There is no stopping me!

Hopefully anyways. Unless I get knocked up again... which let's get real. Let's hope that doesn't happen again... or at least for a very very long time.

You can also get used to these good old blogs again. I've had almost two months of stored up stories... Including but not limited to the arrival of our newest little one: Solo Connell Higginson, my new best friend that works at Scooters but doesn't know he's my best friend yet, the awesomeness that is Fall and the awkwardness that I turn into in every social situation. Watch out moms of the world, you better hope I'm not the one trying to make small talk with you...
