Steeeelllllaaaaaaaaaa!

This has nothing to do with my blog but I think it's the cutest thing in the world so I want to document it.

Last night, Stella told me, "Mommy, I love you the muchest! But,sshh, don't tell daddy."

And if that in itself doesn't just melt your heart (And feel like doing the Rocky victory run up those stairs whilst listening to Eye of the Tiger and then throwing your hands up in the air like a prize fighter because you're the fave parent, I just don't know what will...) (Um, JK. Kind of....) she continued.

"Mommy, do you love me the muchest?"

"Yes, Stella, I love you the much, much, muchest!!" (I have this disease where whenever I talk to my children I have to repeat everything three times, like I'm working up to the actual word and get very excited so that sometimes at the end of the word we throw a fist pump. Ex. break, Break, BREAKFAST (Insert fist pump)).

"Mommy, do you love me mucher than Scarlett? You can tell me, I won't tell her."

"Yes, Stella, I love you mucher than Scarlett." (Just don't ask Scarlett if I love you mucher than her, because she believes something COMPLETELY different. And one day so will Stryker. If he doesn't already....)

Or, maybe, I'll turn into one of those good parents that teaches the lesson they are all loved equally.....

Probably not though.

My mom and her siblings still quibble over who was loved more by their mom and I kind of love the discussion. Each one of them felt that they were the favorite, that they were the most special and I think that is just beautiful.

Also. I just LOVE the word "quibble." I tried to use it in my book yesterday and I couldn't get away with it. I was super disappointed.

It's like the word "whilst." Oh, how I love to use "whilst," but.... not really cohesive with the rest of the body of work. So.... Shoot.

Bible Study this morning, so this is a short one. BUT. I think there will be two posts today.... I think. Because I have a super fun, exciting announcement to make, but it's going to take a little bit of work and the problem is... lately I haven't had any little bits of time. Ask my email....

Anyways, a little sneak peak. I am going to be doing my first ever Give-Away on the El Bloggo and I am super, super, super (See? Repeating three times again....) excited about it! Not to mention the whole idea revolutionized my way of thinking.

Have you heard of digital scrapbooks???

I hadn't. Until now. And can I just say the invention ranks right up there near indoor plumbing.

How. Fantastic.

Anyways, there is your sneak peak and more details to follow.

Also.

As of this morning.

In a little over one week.

Reckless Magic has been downloaded over 20,000 times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't get over it. I can't even believe it. I don't know what to do with a number that big. And I am just in awe. So thank you to everyone who has downloaded it, everyone who has loved it, everyone who has just kind of liked it and even to those who have absolutely hated it.

I'll take all the opinions I can get! :)

  1. Absolutely love your books! So excited for the next one in Oct. I have read your books twice each in the last week, and have recommended them to the whole neighborhood!

  2. Enjoy your books. Would love them if there weren't soooo many typos though! For example, "it's" only has an apostrophe if it means "it is". Just one (repeated) error that interrupts the enjoyment of reading your book.

  3. I just finished the second book in your series, and I must say that they have me wrapped up in this world so tight, I feel like these people are my friends. I've gone from being on pins and needles, and smiling to myself (which makes me look crazy on the subway), to out right bawling. Even though I feel a bit crushed right now, I have to have hope that you will build that hope back up for me. I refuse to believe that E and K aren't going to come together...maybe it's the hopeless romantic in me. However, loved your books and I cannot wait for the next one in October!
