So. Yesterday happened. And at no time during the day did I remember to pick up coffee. Or creamer. Which is a must have for me. I can't drink it black. I don't want it plain. It honestly grosses me out just thinking about it.
And you can think I like it Fufu all you want, but I'm telling you, a little be it of creamer goes a long way.
Maybe I'll make a hot chocolate.....
Today is a writing day. I'm pushing the House Cleaning to another day. Yes, even though I blogged about it yesterday, I never really found time to get around to it. I cleaned one room. And half of another.
But this house needs like open heart surgery.... But I've decided that I would rather have a spic and span house closer to the weekend....
Or at least that's what I'm tell myself.
So anyways, I need to write. I have to write. And actually, I want to write. So as long as the children are ok with that (Which I'm sure they will have no problem at all.... :)) that is what today will be spent doing.
Actually, I have help today. So, I might actually get done what I set out to do.
Maybe. It's always iffy with me, I have great aspirations.... But sometimes at the end of the day, I'm like, ok, what did I actually do????
Yesterday I had a blog comment about someone who wanted a maid service and so she approached her husband about it. ( I really appreciate your words by the way! I needed to hear that it was ok to not want to clean my own house!!) And the thought dawned on me, Oh, maybe I should talk to Zach about it. I suppose he'll want a say! Haha.
So I did, last night. Sometimes we have these silly conversations about like, what would you do if we had this, or that, or money, or more time or whatever.
So I brought up the maid service and at first he completely rejected the idea, and said something about me turning into a real housewife! Lol, but then he got over it. I pulled the whole, I just want to make sure my time is evenly divided between work and family. Or not even evenly, but that my family no matter how much time is spent writing has the majority of my attention. (Mind you this is all very, very hypothetical, but we take our hypothetical conversations very seriously. You should hear us talk about Zombie Apocalypse scenarios.... Oh, I wish I was joking!!!)
And he's all FINE! But just as long as you aren't hiring four nannies and leaving the kids to raise themselves.
As if I'm Camille Grammar!
Just Kidding! I kind of love her this season....
But he does watch those shows every once in a while... like every, very once in a while and he is totally appalled! He can't get over how much money they have and how they behave.
Which I mean, I can't either, that's why I watch the show!
Well, used to watch the show, now my eyes are glued to a computer screen every spare moment I have! But that's besides the point.
This blog has not point. Sorry! But it did help me wake up without the help of coffee and now the children are awake and angry. They are very, very angry.

Yes, I would totally not equate having someone clean my house every few weeks to getting nannies :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and I fully believe that your books WILL make you enough money to be able to get the maid you need.
I loooove your books!!! really can wait for Hopeless magic to be published!!( I hope it will be done on october 1rst right at midnight :)
ReplyDeleteI have read every review about them and everybody is HUNGRY for them, so you'll get the help you need so you can keep giving us great stories to dream and obsess about.
Please, give Eden and Kiran a chance.. please pretty please...
Also, when everyone else is obssesing over your Star-cross series, and you became VERY famous, please don't let them distroy the story in a crapy slopy movie...
Don't worry, I've read your books, the maid service isn't some farway dream, trust me. And until this blog, I honestly belived that we were the only family that talked about Zombie Apocalyptic Scenerios, except our are always post-apocalyptic?? And I have absolutely killer boots in every scenerio too. ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much everyone!!! We will see about the future, but definitely I will need an ARMY of house cleaners!! :)
