It's a Barbie World

And I'm a Barbie Girl.

Life in Plastic.

It's fantastic.

How much do you hate me right now for getting that song stuck in your head???

I kind of hate me right now.

Nevertheless. I had to share.

Partly because misery loves company. And partly because the girls are watching a Barbie Movie and that song ALWAYS gets stuck in my head whenever the computer animation of Barbie graces our silver screen.

Anyways, Blogging world. It's been a while. I actually have a blog written that I never posted during the whole bubbies fiasco. It was just more complaining about dying from breast cancer.

Nothing ground breaking.

Although, I am very happy to announce that I have recovered. Hallelujah, praise the Lord.

Can I get an Amen?

Amen. Amen.

:)

Also, during my absence, can I just say that my children have totally grown up. I don't know what happened to them. Stella is like ten feet tall, Scarlett is completely potty train and doesn't need me at all and Stryker?

Let me tell you about Stryker.

He is seconds away from crawling, he eats cereal and baby food now, he can fall asleep on his own. And he's talking.

Not like correlating his sounds to subjects. But he's got the whole "dadadadadada" thing going on.

He's such a big boy.

Like, I'm not kidding, my doctor told me he's the size of a one year old. Weight wise, he's 19 pounds.

19!

Stella was seventeen pounds at her first birthday.

And Scarlett was eighteen.

Stryker is nineteen pounds at SIX MONTHS.

And he just now started food!

Plus, height wise he is literally off the charts. I'm not kidding, her little dot thing was like way above the curve.

Oh my.

So. The kidlets are basically ready to graduate high school. And since Lindsay just had her precious new little one and she is pretty much the most beautiful baby I have ever seen.

I have baby fever.

Again.

And I am not really sure how, since I actually still have a baby. But I think, I'm crazy.

Well, ok, maybe we've known that.

Ok. So on to other exciting news!!!

The sequel is finished!!!! I mean. To my first book.

The second book is done and I cannot tell you how much I never thought that would happen. But here it is in front of me, in some serious need of editing.... but finished!

And it's good.

Like.

I don't mean to toot my own horn, but it is better than the first one.

And I am really proud of it.

So. As long as I can get it to the editors and finish all the mistakes I will be in super good shape to release it in August.

The cover art is even finished.

Would you like to see it?

Ok. Fine.

:)

Here is the sneak peak of Hopeless Magic.

So pretty, right???

Well, I love it!

And I cannot wait to get it online!

I also need to write a teaser for the next book.... Which means I have to figure out the next book.... Which means, which actually means I have no real idea where this next book is going.

That's awesome.

I'm off to edit.

BUT. Tomorrow more blogs. Especially because I have got to share my experience trying to garden.

Oy.
